Festive Activities on the Day of Eid
Happiness and excitement, sharing gifts, and giving good wishes is an essential part of Eid. Please see the good work of the Family and Youth Institute (https://www.thefyi.org) for their beautiful suggestions on how to make this Eid special. Celebrate with some of these ideas with close friends and families while applying the rules of social distancing.
Sadaqat Al- Fitr
Sadaqat Al-Fitr is an obligatory charity that should be given on behalf of each member in the household in order to achieve two goals. First, to give the vulnerable a chance to celebrate the day of Eid free of concern and to avoid the humiliation of asking for assistance while everyone is celebrating. Also, it serves as a type of spiritual purification to cover any shortcomings that may have occurred during the performance of the rituals of Ramadan.
Sadaqat al-Fitr may be paid in any amount of $10 and above (per each member of the household). Please pay as soon as possible so that it can be properly distributed before Eid.
Pay Online (Credit/Debit/PayPal/Bank Draft):
Khatam Al Quran Dua
Due for completion of the Quran recitation will be on Wednesday 12th at 7PM. Everyone is encouraged to join via zoom.
