First Day of Ramadan


 The first day of Ramadan 1446 will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The first Taraweeh will be Tuesday night, February 17th. For information regarding the method used to determine the start of Ramadan, see the Fiqh Council of North America calendar.

Taraweeh & Khatam Al-Quran

Taraweeh

(Every Day after Isha'a)


  • We will pray 8 Rakah followed by Witr and then resume praying another 12 Rakah Taraweeh and Witr for those wishing to pray 20 Rakah.

  • Fajr Iqama will be 20 minutes after prayer time and 10 minutes after during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

  • Isha'a iqama will be at 7:30 PM starting on 2/20 (Ramadan 3), 8:30 PM starting on 3/8 (Ramadan 19), and 8:45 PM starting on 3/13 (Ramadan 24).

  • The Khatam al-Quran will be on the 29th night of Ramadan (Tuesday, March 17th).

  • There will be a 5-minute nightly talk during the break in Taraweeh prayer related to Seerah (a significant figure in the history of Islam)


Tahajjud at ICN 12 South

We will be praying Tahajud at 4:00 AM each day on the last 10 days of Ramadan, followed by Suhoor beginning on Tuesday, March 10 (Ramadan 21).


Khatam Al-Qur'an (3/17) at ICN 12 South

ICN Community, please join us on Tuesday, March 17th, for the completion of the Qur’an recitation. Special treats will be served, insha’Allah!

Every year during Ramadan, we welcome guests from across the city (neighbors, non-profits, government officials, fitness, educators, places of worship, etc.) to share iftar dinners and break our fast, preceded by a one-hour presentation on Islam, Culture & Diversity - Understanding Your Muslim Neighbors in Nashville to help build bridges of understanding while addressing common misconceptions, our history in Nashville & addressing questions.




Zakat Al-Fitr / Fidya/ Kaffara

Please pay your Zakat Al Fitr using the link below or cash/check at ICN. This is the right of those less fortunate to enjoy the celebration of Eid as well. We'd like for you to pay as early as possible to facilitate the distribution of all Fitra funds before the Eid prayer. We will distribute funds locally to individuals/families (including refugees) who have a verified need, insha'Allah, and the remaining funds will be sent to Gaza and the Horn of Africa through verified organizations.
