Highlights of how your donations were put into action in the past year

Thanks to our generous donors and volunteers, ICN was able to focus on its core mission and accomplish many achievements in the past year through:





Being an epicenter of Islamic Knowledge and Spirituality

  • 200+ classes & webinars by Sheikh Ossama through multi-week educational programs like, 'Emphasis on the Moral Aspect and Biography of the Companions', 'Clarifying Misconception Related to Some Hadith', 'A Journey with Surat Al Kahf', and more!

  • Collaborated with other mid-TN Masajid to provide educational programming on crucial topics such as 'Islamic Perspective on LGBTQ', 'The Knowledge of Aqeedah', and more!

  • Hosted many subject matter expert speakers, such as Sheikh Yusuf Estes, Sr. Kashaf Iqbal, Dr. Zaid Barzinji, Dr. Adel Elmessiry, and others to present on relevant topics for the community

  • 20+ Muslim Young Professionals events organized reaching 375+ Muslim Young Professionals in Middle Tennessee

  • Supporting 50+ New Muslims in the Guided Hearts program through various events and activities

  • Established College Student programming through bi-weekly halaqas with local MSAs

  • 90+ students educated in the Quran & Islamic Studies Program in coordination with ICN Bellevue with tuition and transportation support.

Building Bridges and Increase Understanding of Islam and Muslims

  • 20+ presentations on Islam through the outreach program

  • 500+ visitors to our center to learn about Islam

  • 600+ Qurans and Islamic Materials furnished to visitors, local institutions, and state-wide prisons

  • Providing cultural training and educational materials to strategically equip our educators, health care workers, and law enforcement teams with what they need to serve the Muslim community

Helping Those in Need

  • Assisted 30+ local individuals and families through the Zakat Fund

  • Helped provide transportation and food for the homeless through Room in the Inn partnership

  • Helped feed 10,000+ insecure people in the Horn of Africa

  • Helped provide clean water to 1,000+ vulnerable people in Yemen

  • Helped rebuild homes for 20+ families affected by the floods in Pakistan

  • Helped provide food, clean water, and medicine to the vulnerable impacted by the earthquakes in Turkey & Syria

Improving Facilities

  • Graveyard improvements through land development to increase burial spaces, new streamlined procedures, and new process of documenting individual graves/funeral records

  • Implemented sustainable practices toward Zero Waste Ramadan goals with composting, reducing/reusing/recycling plastics, and saying goodbye to Styrofoam!

  • Hired (and hiring more) qualified professional staff to standardize and implement various programs and operations at ICN 12 South
