Eid ul-Adha will be on Wednesday 28th June 2023

As per the announcement made by Saudi Arabia, Monday (June 19th) will be the first day of Dhul-Hijjah 1444. The day of Arafat will be on Tuesday, 27th June 2023. Eid ul-Adha will be on Wednesday 28th June 2023.

You and your family are cordially invited to join us at ICN 12 South on Tuesday, June 27th at Maghrib for a catered iftar dinner on Yaumul Arafat/Day of Arafat

Iftar will be catered by Reebar Restaurant

Please feel free to bring desserts to share!

EID Prayer Information

Masjid Al-Farooq will be coordinating the Eid Al-Adha prayer at TSU Indoor Practice Facility (1251 Schrader Ln, Nashville, TN 37209) on Wednesday, June 28th, Insha Allah.

There will be TWO Eid Salat and will start PROMPTLY:

First Prayer/Khutbah - 7 AM

Second Prayer/Khutbah - 8:30 AM

Read Important Parking information for EID Prayers at TSU

In order to help manage the traffic and parking for Eid Prayer at the TSU campus, ICN and Al-Farooq representatives in consultation with the TSU team is providing the following guidelines for community members to follow.

  1. Please follow all TSU Parking and Security staff directions, as they are part of the event, and know exactly where to direct you to park and how to enter and exit the facility.

  2. Please plan your travel early to have sufficient time to navigate traffic, park at TSU, and walk to the facility.

  3. To help ease heavy congestion and traffic on Jefferson Street (I-40 exit 207) and Ed Temple Blvd leading to the TSU practice facility, everyone coming from the West side of town on I-40 (Bellevue), is highly encouraged to avoid the traffic at Jefferson Street (exit 207), by taking 205 exit, merge on Alabama Ave, left onto 51st Ave N, right onto Centennial Blvd, Continue onto Dr Walter S Davis Blvd.

Entering the facility:

Please review the campus map and become familiar:

  1. The main parking lot will be reserved for the handicapped and elderly. If you do not need assistance, please park in the grassy areas 1 or 2.

  2. If you are coming via Dr.Walter S Davis Blvd, please use Gate C or the main entrance to park in Grassy Area 1.

  3. If you are coming via Schrader Lane, please use Gate B to enter and park in Grassy Area 2.

  4. Gate A will not be open and it will be used only for emergency vehicle use. Please do not park in front of any gates or park blocking vehicle traffic.

Instructions inside the facility:

  1. Please come with Wudu for Prayers.

  2. No outside food/drink or candy will be permitted at the TSU practice facility. TSU will be charging a cleaning fee to those who violate this instruction.

  3. Chairs provided are for the elderly and physically handicapped. Please do not use them unless you are elderly or handicapped.

  4. Please do not congregate and sit near the doors.

  5. Please make sure to follow instructions from the volunteers in making sure you are sitting and praying in straight lines without gaps.

Eid Carnival and BBQ on Saturday, July 1st at 4:00 PM

You and your family are cordially invited to join the EID Carnival and BBQ on Saturday, July 1st at 4:00 PM at ICN Bellevue Mosque (7337 Charlotte Pike). There will be bouncy houses, food, and activities.
