ICN is happy to announce Summer Internships in our office. ICN's summer internship for rising high school juniors/seniors, college students, and recent graduates is aimed at supporting all operational areas of ICN. It runs from July 1st to August 13th (with a possible extension).
Are you self-motivated, willing to learn new things, and detail-oriented?
If so, take advantage of this excellent opportunity to gain non-profit operations management experience while reaping the rewards of service (Ajar).
You will work 10-20 hours a week (flexible with Intern’s schedule, including weekend hours), earn volunteer credits, be eligible for stipends, and be given preference for full-time/part-time employment at ICN!

Qualifications:
Detail-oriented
Ability to organize efficiently
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
Self-motivated; positive attitude; willing to learn
Data analysis skills a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research and data gathering
Schedule, set up, and attend meetings
Write reports
General administrative duties
Provide assistance with other ICN projects as necessary
Project Areas:
Projects are available in the areas of Accounting & Finance, Communications & Social Media, Community Service, Healthcare & Counseling Services, Religious Education, Masjid Maintenance Projects, Memberships & Donor Relationships, New Muslim Support, Technology and Audio-Visual, Sisters Programs, Young Professionals, Outreach and Community Partnerships, Zakat and Social Work.
Training:
On the job training will be provided as necessary
Professional development and leadership training opportunities

Reports to:
Regularly reports to the Operations Coordinator; but may work with Resident Scholar or the Executive Council members depending on the project
